Today on May 17, 2012, at 3:04 someone very special to me passed away. Link my cat, some of you may remember him from my previous journal, passed on today. He took a turn for the worst a few days ago, and we decided to take him to the vet today, he was once again filling with fluid, and his heart could no longer keep up, even with the medicine we were giving him.

So with a heavy heart… I made the decision to let him go. I won't lie…. I don't cry... but today I cried like a baby.  It hurts and I miss him, and there will always be a place in my heart for him. He was my little hero and no one can or will ever take his place.

He was more than just a cat to me… he was my best friend, he was family.

My fondest wish is that he is with my grandfather in Heaven now, chasing lizards, (and eating them) to his heart's content.

I love you Link, my little hero.

You'll always be in my heart.
